Hobart Rivulet Bushcare Group

The Hobart Rivulet Bushcare Group is helping restore the Hobart Rivulet and make a positive difference to our local environment and our iconic platypus. The group plants native sedges, shrubs and trees to improve the biodiversity and aesthetics of the rivulet, as well as improving the environment for local fauna and flora. The volunteers also remove weeds such as blackberry and thistles, and collect litter along the banks of the rivulet. Our working bees are held on the second Sunday of each month, from 2:00 to 4:30 pm (February to November).

Regular Events:
Working bees 2nd Sunday of the month (Feb to Nov) from 2:00 to 4:30 pm. Meeting place will be advised by email before each event.
